One Cartridge, Not a Box: .50 Alaskan cartridge built by COR-BON on a limited run, using new Starline Brass cases with “*∩* 50 ALASKAN” Head-Stamp loaded with a huge 450 Grain Swift A-Frame JSP (Jacketed Soft Point) projectile.

History of the .50 Alaskan cartridge:
The 50 Alaskan was developed by Harold Johnson and Harold Fuller ofthe Kenai Peninsula of Alaska sometime in the 1950s.
Harold Johnson necked out the .348 WCF  (Winchester Center-Fire) case to .50 cal,  and Harold Fuller developed the barrel, marrying a .50 cal barrel to an old Model 1886 rifle.
This Big fellow cartridge started out as a true wildcat cartridge.
This is a true proprietary rifle cartridge used in custom built lever action rifles in only a few fine custom gun shops.
