History of the .510 Whisper Wildcat Cartridge:
The .510 Whisper is the creation of J.D. Jones of SSK Industries.
It was created by shortening a .338 Lapua case to 1.875" long and necking it out to accept .50 caliber, 750 grain  projectiles for suppressed rifles.
With a muzzle velocity of 1050 feet per second, test have proved accuracy out to 600 yards
